UH60, your post in the "improvements" thread was excellent ...our join dates are the same as, evidently, our reasons for joining the boards and even, judging from your comments, our take on the evolution of the board to this point. I do hope your (and my) optimism is confirmed by positive adjustments and the maintainance of existing ABX traditions of helpfulness and holding members at a greater value than meaningless ciphers behind keyboards as things move on...families change as they grow, but damnit, sometimes it's hard to resist swinging a bat when it feels like it's needed. I guess a little anger management goes a long way on any public forum...a 24 hr cool-off rule is something I implemented in my personal life many years ago and still seems to have a raison-d'etre in my internet life, lol!. Your reasoned thoughts were a welcome read.
