Exclamation smaller is better anyway ... er, that's what she SAID

OK -- I was happiest in my youth using morse code and carving small intricate things on my school desk. My last computer project was SFF for one of the kids. I put a small decal on my F250. My personal rig is too large but cools well and is no longer [if ever] state-of-the-art, so listing it all in my sig isn't a "biggy" [or rather, it was a 'too biggy']. I'm just an Old Fashioned kinda guy, anyway. Gonna go have a small beer and contemplate a minimalist future -- take up less bandwidth/storage for a faster world.

I don't understand something.....I just tried putting up a sig tonight but an error message popped up saying that the sig cannot exceed a size of 100 x 100 pixels.....but according to the new sig rules posted in this thread it says that "The size of area that consists of your signature MUST fit into a window size of 662 X 162 pixels"---so which is it 100 x 100 or 662 x 162?

actually, it's 650 x 150 ....the size of my sig.....the other rule is file size, the total cannot be over 50kb..

Can't think of any reason, if you have met all the requirements in the FAQ I linked.....I just changed mine last night with no problem...you may want to check with a mod....:confuse2:

NO!!!....hehe , that's the problem!!!...you need to host it somewhere and insert the link like you would any image. Do this in the "usercp" "edit signature " dialog.

ahhh...I got it now...I was placing the sig in the wrong location...I was putting it under "Custom Profile Picture" instead of under my "Signature"

one of these days, I need to find a place to host my images. I'll take a look and see if my comcast cable can do it?

If you want to see a custom profile pic, I have one...
