How fast can you type?

http://www.play4traffic.com/game.php

Type out the words before they reach the laser-thingy.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Your score of 81 has made it to our Hall of Fame !!!

my first mistake was in level 8, and I could not complete level 9.

note: I was a long haired freak in high school. after on semester of typing, I was up to 63WPM and beat every girl in a high school of 1200 kids. I still have the trophy.

Being able to type saved my bacon during Vietnam. I was a boat operator on the nothern rivers and my battle station was behind a 50 cal machine gun. When I found out both company clerks were heading home at the same time and no replacements were available, I "applied" for a job. After a typing test, I was the most accurate and typed reasonably fast. I had taken typing in HS but faked a sprained wrist after learning how to type just to get away from the wacko teacher (she talked to spiders and hornets and locked people in the closet as punishment). Got my speeds up to near 60 wpm before I left Nam, but had the clerk job and Personnel Staff NCO at Battalion after that. Sure beat being a target on a slow moving landing craft in the middle of a narrow river. Don't think I'll take this test however. I'll just embarass myself. Much older and MUCH slower now.

The test was a bit hard because my eyes got blurry from the words scrolling across the screen.

78, w00t. Yeah, The words going by from left to right makes it pretty difficult as the speed increases. It would have been easier if the words stayed still and the last moved closer and closer.

Very cool though, haven't done a typing test in a while.

78... The moving words and my poor spelling is what got me. Words like infidelity where too blurry to distinguish the 'fi' or 'li' and I couldn't spell it correctly on my own in the 2 seconds I had
