I want one with a blade, like on howstuffworks, like a weapon, thought it'de be cool to show to friends and stuff.

Just curious, is repplicas a good trusted site? Maybe there is a really large retailor that my parents oculd order it from (They'de probably trust that more).

With a blade, your choices are basically fixed or collapsible. My kids have four or five with the collapsible blades. They hold up well in "battles" but look cheesy, IMO. But, the kids don't care. They're more concerned with the functionality of the collapsible blade.

If you want something that looks good with a blade, I think the higher-end, fixed-blade replicas are the way to go. Pretty expensive, tho.

I have no clue about Master Replicas, but they look okay. Buy it with a credit card and you're safe.

Well, I'm a child as you know, so any suggestions to get my parents to buy one is fine. I really like the look of the red one you posted from masterreplicas, was that a non-cheesy looking one?

Also, was the howstuffworks link somewhat a false? Can these things really light a cigarette, or cut a tree (sharp, etc?). Be used as a real weapon to possibly damage somone? I was a bit confused from that link, and a clarification would be great .

Either way, I still wouldn't mind getting one becasue they do look pretty cool. Are they heavy? Also, do any in-store retailers sell it in Canada? A quick google search gave me a lot of american retailers (walmart, target, etc) selling it on there site (exact same one I beleive as on master replicas).

Ideas Ideas?

I was curious if WALMART carried them? My son has a huge WART on his foot that we've been trying to get rid of. Compund-W and Freeze-Away just isn't working. Sure would be nice just to slice it off.

Since I used to swim completitively 6-8 hours a day, it was not uncommon to get a wart after going to a crappy pool... I had one that was so frickin big (and woudln't die with liquid N2) that the dermatologist had to use some anti-cancer meds... Within 2 days it turned black and started ripping apart, one of the most disgusting events of my life.

THAT IS AWESOME! But no way I'm buying my kids a $400 toy that they'll break in the first five minutes of use.

Yea, last time we saw the pediatrician, she said "Warts will go away in time, they are not permanent." I still don't believe that. We go Friday to see about it again. Probably get a referral so it can be cut out, maybe by a " Industrial Series Lightsaber".

Of course if you're a smoker with a really long nose you may want to be extra cautious...
