What a great forum. I can check in and find my problems solved before they even exist. Once in a while I get a new problem, and post it. I get a load of answers from lots of knowlegable people. When will granite bay be available on newegg? Its faster to check in here then check on newegg. Which GB to buy? When is caterwood coming out? All can be had without a single post.

I registered 4/1/01... and reached 300 posts on 7/5/01. I was on dial-up until sometime in June '01, and I didn't post nearly as much in the off-topic forum back then, either.

Personally I don't think 300 posts and the avatar are the real point. The point is whether you stick around long enough to become part of the "family".
Anyone who is only here for the avatar needs to get a life, because you are missing so much of what you could have here!

I don't think anyone is only here for the avatar. I surf other simular sites too, but prefer to come back here because Asusboards has a "mature feeling", and a lot of friendly members. But the avatar is a "us-and-them"- thing though....
