We got a turn for the worse today! COLD rain! YUK! We need the rain, but it is 40F and the rain feels colder than that!

Wait a minute, it'll change!

Spent the day in Houston today on business, wet cold and nasty. Flew home on the Corp jet, weather was so bad couldn't land at my home airport had to go to a nearby city. Made an approach, got down within 200 feet of runway and pilot almost lost it due to a high crosswind and fog/rain. Since I am a ex-military and civilian pilot, I appreciated the skill and peril. Pilot went around and landed downwind since it was a slightly quartering crosswind. So we landed at a normal touchdown speed of approx 130 mph adding about 20 mph tailwind or 150 mph. Used ALL the runway to stop.
FUN DAY!!!

Sounds a bit exiting TaxMan. It reminds me of a landing in Spokane. Ceiling was said to be 500 feet but when the clouds broke it was more like 200 feet and not a pretty sight to see. Power on and up we went quickly and around again.

Hey, I've nearly been killed in an aircraft many times! I've got nine lives and I think I have used seven.
Still, flying is not as risky as running a highly overclocked AMD.
