I am looking for a book.

I am looking for this book in its complete and UNABRIDGED translation in English.

"The Art of War - Sun Tzu"

Everywhere I look someone has their freakin commentary on it etc. I dont want that. The only unabridged versions are Audio Books !!!!

Anyone able to point me in the right direction.

Well, I just happen to have a legal text copy. Zip file attached. Text version removed - format was terrible and hard to read. pdf file in later post is formatted properly.

It's a treasure for clever quotes, this book. I've read some of it before, a long time ago.

"Therefore, to gain a hundred victories in a hundred battles is not the highest excellence;
to subjugate the enemy's army without doing battle is the highest of excellence."

That text version formatted wrong - it is hard to read, so I made it into a pdf which is much better. Attached.

That's it? Only 21 pages? The official version?

I've always wanted to read it, thanks PCBruiser! Now off to complete my ninja training!

That's it - short and sweet. True wisdom doesn't always need a lot of words for expression.

BTW, there are many, many translations, this one I just happened to have in my library of files. Some are better than others, and many are not only translations as AR suggested, but also have lengthy analyses as well.

I think the short length is also another lesson the book teaches.
