I need your opinion on ebay transaction I purchased an outfit for my baby girl and paid promptly for it in February. I still have not recieved the item. I have been in contact with the seller, they told me to keep waiting. I got fed up and told them I wanted my money back or I would report them to ebay, paypal and leave negative feedback. They offered half of the auction's ending price as a settlement (a third if you count the exhorbenent shipping cost). I told them no, I want it all back. They have no tracking number, they say they have a reciept showing they shipped it to my zip code, but I really don't care. I either want my money or my item. I paid them in good faith for an item to be delivered. I was not delivered that item, I beleive I should be reimbursed. In the last email I sent them I gave them 24 hours to give me $$ or I would start the process of reporting. They threatened counter-claims and to leave negative feedback on me. Should I take the money or fight them? I know that I will never see any money if I go through the reporting process and I will have a neg. feedback (I have a perfect positive record right now). Do I cut my losses? I need your opinions.......

Since positive feedback is so important on ebay, I would cut my losses if under $20. If over $20 file a dispute through paypal.

well hopefully you paid using a cc through pay pal, if you did then no worries. the cc company will refund you. however no matter what i would just go ahead and start the process with ebay. iam sure you'll probably get your product, most sellers who do that **** are just lazy and aren't actually trying to screw you over. But whatever happens if you don't get your product or if you get it and refuse delivery don't settle for anything less than a full refund. ive used ebay for lots of transactions, if your new to it, then id say give it another try its usually good. gl w/ your ****ty seller, and leave detailed negative feedback & don't take negative feedback from him you didn't do anything to deserve it.

KillerJ, You say not to take negative feedback from them. How can I stop it? I have a rating of 93, and had a few strange transactions. But nothing like this. And I paid with my paypal balance.
