| Re: Ipod Classic any good? well i do use one of the the video versions of it and so far no complaints on my part as far the piece is concerned, while the earpiece has been gone for ages now, the sound was better when i turned the headphone the other way around at the back side while the sound frm where it should have come was very low, thats the only thing that was bad about my ipod

| Re: Ipod Classic any good? I have used an Ipod classic and yes it is a very good product but, from experience, the Ipod Classic runs on a hard drive rather that flash memory which means if you drop it you could break the hard drive which would make it almost useless. If your not planning on holding alot of songs (like no more than ~2000) than I suggest you get an ipod with flash memory and is a little cheaper like the nano. If you have some money to spend you could get the Ipod Touch which has flash memory and a cool touch screen.

| Re: Ipod Classic any good? Are there ipods with flash memory and 80 Gbyte or more storage space? I find them quite nice but i don't like the fact that you can only use them with iTunes, can't use them to copy/share/move or simlpy transport files (of any kind). It really is just a hardware-extension for iTunes. I personally would prefer some "mobile data storage thingie" that can play music too. Greetings Dru

| Re: Ipod Classic any good? Indeed...that will be corrected shortly. It would be very helpful if such things were brought to attention so they can be addressed.

| Re: Ipod Classic any good? I'm seriously considering one of these myself, considering that the Zune software is a royal pain to install on 64bit Vista.

| Re: Ipod Classic any good? Can Winamp handle the iPod? (Not that i have one, but if i ever bought an mp3-player, the ipod looks best imho) Often tried winamp before, but somehow i didn't manage to get the hang of it. iTunes is, like most things from apple imho, kinda easy-to-use for me. Greetings Dru
