| Hey folks, this weekend I'm taking a Jungle survival course, and I'd like to know what to bring with me. We are staying two days away from civilization with local Air Force instructors. The instructor said we could bring anything with us, as long as we could carry it. I'm carrying a Sleeping bag, swiss army knife, some energy bars, a bottle of water, Clean underwear and socks Thanks for the sugestions, yours trully, Unax |

Let's hope the wood is dry if they are going to start a fire the way I think they will. | |

| Whenever I head bush I always take toothbrush & toothpaste, packtowel, toilet paper & plastic trowel, sleeping bag, small pillow or down parka with a pillow case specially made to make a pillow out of the parka, and sleeping mat (if I don't have my swag) and lightweight groundsheet big enough to go over and under sleeping bag leaving room at top so it doesn't cause sweating )you can hold it up with 2 sticks in the ground and a length of clothesline), 1 set thermals (good for sleeping in also if it gets cold), set of Goretex, insect repellant with high concentration DEET, small basic First Aid Kit, swim togs, watch and Leatherman and a "Fix It Kit with Araldite", string, safety pins, matches, a condom (for carrying water if neccessary), plastic shopping bag (for rubbish) and one of those ring saws (thin rope-like saw blade with a ring on each end) and a length of lightweight clothesline. |
