| ROFL!!! How did I miss this thread?? LOL Ok lemme see if I got this right: Gorgonzola has shown us that: 1. Cold is just a figment of our imagination 2. To be a proud canadian takes a test and a list of 42 beliefs deadkennedy says: 1. Fighting is worth defending your homeland's beer, and it's not personal just a cultural thing. 2. As it stands right now I could become a canadian millionaire with the exchange rate at $1.60 XV100sh says don't forget BTO and Rush! Ya baby Rush rules! And finally we all agree that the concept of hockey is lost on Texans and we wouldn't miss it if they stopped playing. Okay am I up to speed now? ROFL |

| Next to our superior Beer America would join the only country to have it's own Call In Sex show where you can talk about your problems and get solutions to them and learn more about it, The Sunday Night Sex show. Also, the American public would have to put up with increased degree of nudity and profanity on TV. So, to sum it up. American's would get better Beer, learn how to have better sex (Beer might have something to do with it), see increased amounts of nudity on the boob tube (also referred to as the TV), hear even more profanity (but with a Canadian accent, eh!!). I suspect that Utah might just have a few things to say about annexing Canada. BTW, how come they don't have a hockey team in the NHL?

Where is our President from...hmmm..oh, I don't know... Texas?!? Other than that, this is a damn funny thread. A couple of years ago the wife and I were up in Whistler, B.C. for some snow skiing. Strangest thing was, the Canucks were outnumbered two to one by Aussies. I did buy some Cebe Sunglasses for around thirty percent less than I could in the U.S. Do I love that exchange rate? Yes, I do. | |

| So, in speaking the tongue of the Gauls, how many people do you think our good buddy Zero was able to reach? I wonder what this means when translated: "les gens les déteste pour leur arrogance et stupidité." Heck, I don't have any idea. French is so difficult to understand, n'est ce pas? Le secret d'ennuyer est...de tout dire, oui? By the way, when eating out in a French restaurant, it's always polite to ask your wait person this question: "Combien de vos clients sont morts?" |

| Great thread...just a couple notes from me. About the hockey thing in Texas, didn't Dallas win the Makita Cup a few years back. I mean Stanley Cup. Come to think of it, when was the last time a Canadian team won the cup? Most of the Canadian teams have come south with the snow birds to play hockey in positive temperature climates. I am all for annexing New Foundland. St Johns is a party mecca only rivalled by New Orleans. If you don't believe go to George Street in the summer. You will swear you are at Burbon Street. Lastly, I do quite a bit of eBay sales with people from Canada, and it is a major pain to send something there. What is the deal? You would think I was sending bullets to Afganastan, not bike parts to B.C. Canada is like a neighbor. Just up the street. There is no ocean to cross(which in my mind would constitute the piles of custom forms needed to send a package to Canada). So bring on the Labatt's and make them a few states. Make them big, so Texas won't talk so much ***** about size. |

| Need to revive this thread....Just think, if we annex canada it would actually increase the value of their honker(or whatever it is called). That would be a big slap in the face for the Euro dollar. |

| Only 11 nuclear bombs to 'take out' Canada Computer simulation aims to raise questions about huge stockpiles of nuclear warheads David Pugliese The Ottawa Citizen Wednesday, January 02, 2002 A new computer program developed for nuclear weapons researchers in the U.S. probably won't give Canadians much of a sense of security in these days of global tension and uncertainty. The software simulated the destruction of Canada with as few as 11 nuclear warheads. "If you take out Canada's major centres, what is there left in terms of medical and rescue services, government, industry and other functions?" asks Matthew McKinzie, a physicist who worked on the computer program for the Washington-based Natural Resources Defense Council. "There is not enough to continue functioning as a country. For Canada, 11 weapons will do that." http://www.canada.com/ottawa/ottawac...32EBAD56782%7D |
