Yeah, I know! Lewis basically spent most of his life in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He was raised here in Canada. Trained to be a boxer in Canada. Wins an Olympic gold medal for Canada and then essentially renounces his Canadian background completely once he hits the big time. He even suddenly, magically has a British accent (which he did not have when he lived here!). A lot of Canadians just shook their head and said, "Huh?"

Sounds like a tennis player I know.

Yeah!

The traitor who's only claim to fame is the fastest serve ever measured (148 mph).

I'm afraid he's correct. I just looked it up. Now Greg Rusedski has no claim to fame and is just a traitor.

Well over here, the way we speak, it seems to us he has a Canadian accent!

And Rusedski's Canadian as well, honestly, does Britain have any top line sportsman who are actually British?! Apart from David Beckham and co

He is nothing like he used to be, I know, but don't forget the awesome fighter he once was. And that is why he is so hyped.
Well said. I've been a Tyson fan since the mid-80's. After seeing his performance against Lewis, all I can say is I hope Tyson retires. Myself as well as many others were hoping to see the old Tyson. It's now apperant that Tyson is gone. I want to remember him for the great fighter that he was. If he continues to fight he is only going to taint his reputation.

Just watch the fight.

Just watched the fight, what a sad demise of a former champion!
I know he's had his troubles outside the ring all of his own making
but they always seem to go one fight to far. Money?
Everton.
