| mainstream microprocessor??? I,m currently a college student, and i,m working on a project bout microprocessor.. The question is: Two of the mainstream microprocessor types... What do u guys think it should be?? amd athlon and the other one intel (p3 or p4).. hope u guys could give me some ideas |

| samlwl thats intersting..what area of the cpu's are you concentrating on?? for current processors i would say go with the Athlon and P4.... the p3 would be good, but the p4 is technically newer..so... just my 0.02c cryogen

| actually I,m concentrating on the mainstream processor, can the p4 be consider as mainstream processor, at this time? |
