As you probably know we have (or at least had) a couple galleries before and the participation was quite high--at least among the higher posters. However, the gang (and the culture of the Internet forum) has changed. That, coupled with a few really large, multiple forum fights (between ABX members at other sites) has resulted in a lot of that trust and camaraderie being lost. Further, some people such as myself are more concerned about privacy these days and are reluctant to post our pics. (Remember, this is a computer geek forum and some of us aren’t all that pretty anyway.) Thank you for the thought, though. Who knows, things may change.

That's the idea. Trying to get some of that back. Not looking for pretty. Looking to put a face with a name that we talk to every day.

I can understand the privacy part. That's why I went with flickr. It's your own account you can post, delete, make friends only as you wish. No waiting around for a mod who may or maynot remove a pic for you.

). I just read the Wikipedia writeup on her -- sounds like she had a fairly distinguished career in both Hollywood and the UK, she was awarded the Medal of Freedom for war-related activities, and, unusually for a Hollywood celebrity, she had a long and successful marriage, to another actor no less.

Interesting -- thanks!
