| Movie Wanted stinks! Had a lovely evening with my wife and my two sons home from college---and their girlfriends..... Went out to dinner together and was pleasantly surprised how much my sons had matured----grown up if you will.... Then we all went to the movie "Wanted" What a dud....I don't tend to hate movies much-----I either like them or they are ....OK.... I hated this movie----plot was absolutely horrible and the premise totally unbelievable......The "Loom of Fate" picks targets for assasination by a bunch of "weavers"...... Ridiculous---Who runs the Loom??----it can't just function by itself----it's a machine for crying out loud?? And the curving bullets nonsense----what a joke.... And the gore----totally over done..... Jolie was nice to look at----but what a total waste of her and Freeman's talents.....I am shocked that they would lower themselves to something like this. Must have been one of those quick make a buck hollywood rip offs that ALL actors seem to get involved with from time to time..... Anyway----don't waste your time.... The movie is a TOTAL waste......

| Re: Movie Wanted stinks! Were the 'Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull,' 'Wall-E' and 'Hulk' theatres full? Wanted Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes 73% Personally I loved the Night Watch / Day Watch movies. But I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are 'A-list' titles. And yet my local newspaper gave 'Wanted' four stars. So perhaps you were expecting too much or it's not your type of movie.

Boy----I must be totally out of touch----those folks in the reviews actually LIKED it..... Surprisingly----it IS my kind of movie.... The tying it all together was just so POORLY done..... Even fantasy films need coherance and a thread of believeablity.... One of my son's girlfriends uttered this as we left the theater: "Loom of Fate....Riiiigggghhhhtttt...." She was disgusted---as was I----and my two action loving sons basically shook their heads....."What was THAT all about?" one of them said. I hated the latest Indiana Jones too----so there you go..... Must be getting old.....

Wanted (the movie) is "loosely" based on a (series? of) graphic novel(s), the movie is way waterdown - I can clearly understand why they changed the story. (I haven't read the graphic novels, but I have been told the base story). | |

my only complaint about Wanted was that the trailers gave away pretty much all the cool parts...I wish I had gone into the movie not seeing any advanced trailers...the CGI was awesome and reminded me of the Matrix while the storyline somewhat reminded me of Fight Club
