Man, whatta drag! Bad as it seems, anything can be replaced. Glad nobody got hurt. Out here in AZ people often sleep on their boats, and or spend the night out on the lake trying to stay cool. I can tell you from experience that getting caught out on a lake during a storm can get really hairy!

Bear in mind that insurance cos. are much more likely to pay off on mods, equipment, etc. done on your boat if you have receipts, photos and so forth to show them. Also, personal property lost off the boat may be covered by your homeowners insurance: worth looking into.

Wow, you guys are close to my old employer - the original address was in Dallas (7171 Forest Lane) before the main headquarters moved to Plano. I actually liked the area (I once had to fly down there from Bethesda, Maryland for a one day meeting).
