OverClockers Fantasy Football 07/08

Welcome to the first official year of the OverClockers Fantasy Football League! Last year a small group of us started in one forum and we have expanded to forums abroad looking for all overclocking fantasy football fans. If overclocking and football are in your blood, this is the league for you. We are looking for serious fantasy footballers who won't just be drafting their team, setting their lineups, and walking away. This will be an active league and if last year was any indication, very competitive. This thread will be your home base for all the news, updates, discussion, and information relating to the league. Here are the details of the league:

Fox Sports Fantasy League#68909

This is a quick link to the Points & Rules (PM me until I can post URLs) this year. There are a few notable changes, most importantly, the addition of defensive players instead of teams. This may be a hotly debated item but it really adds depth to the challenge. The league this year will be a pay league with a $20 entry fee for a team. If you want to purchase a team, please E-mail me at ocffl at 3oh6 dot com or simply PM here in the forum. I will provide you with the Paypal address and instructions at that time. Basically the winner will take home 80% of the pool with the runner up taking in 20% after all fees. Once we have all teams signed up and everything figured out, I will post the winning dollar values but if you do the math...we are looking at a decent sized pot for the winner if we get a full 18 teams.

This is the current team list that will be updated until full...there are only 18 spots so be sure to get your funds in to secure a spot.

Like last year, for those who were with us, I will be doing the draft in some ridicules manner. It will likely involve tennis balls and the same hill as that was rather fun and totally random for results. The very popular Team Of the Week award will also be in place this year with some decent prizes going to the team with the most TOW awards.

If you have any questions, concerns, smack talk, or just general discussion...this thread will be the place in your respective forum. I will also provide links to all the threads in the various forums that we get teams from so we can check in on the other discussions. Having teams from different forums will certainly be fun and may add another level to the competition. As always...time for the news, which is updated at least once a week during the season.

It's GO time! Countdown to kickoff is on and the draft is only 18 days away! Get your team signed up early and let the competition begin. Remember, check back to this thread all season for news and updates.
