Traveler Thread

I am on my way to Hong Kong to visit my mom and drop my eldest daughter off with her for a couple of weeks. I return this coming Friday and my mom will bring my daughter back at the end of the month.

Where are your travels taking you?

Wow! Unable to afford travel with my disability but OMG what a wonderful place to get to go visit! Enjoy your visit. I would love to go just to visit the fish stores. (My other hobby). Have heard many great things about HK.

Furthest I have ever been is North Carolina from Florida. lol. And the funny part is, I married a Canadian.

I will be going to China, hopefully Shanghai for a week, attend the F1 race, then to Bejing for a week, and perhaps some rural visits to see what the countryside is like. Never been to Asia at all. A friend from Tapei will meet us for a week, and hopefully teach us how to order food correctly, and not be too hopeless when it comes to behaviors.

We're two months out from a fall hiking trip which will take us back to New Mexico's White Mountain Wilderness.

Pictures from last April's trip to the same area can be found here:

Have a safe trip, sanjay...

We finished up two weeks in Ireland on 7/21. What a wonderful place to visit, but expensive. First time I was out of the US except for some border crossing excursions to Canada and Mexico.
