Has anyone tried the 1-800 number?

What is hardward? Is the guy's name Ward? Maybe that explains the women's reaction.

The Commodore 64 was 8-bit, it used a variation of the 6502 CPU which was a popular CPU at the time.

Seems to imply it does exist though! And it does connect to an American system because the message isn't repeated in french like it would be if it had been replaced with a number up here. Someone in Maryland should give it a try.

But it was the best-selling home computer of all-time.

It had some drawbacks, but that was compensated by its huge user- and software base.

It's my favourite computer even today. I can never have back those innumerable fun late nights jiggling away at my joystick, erhm...
