Bike No. 3 was a 1980 Kawasaki Z1-R-1000

You can see the rear fender of a '66 or '67 Oldsmobile in the upper left of the pic.

The only thing I didn't like about that bike was the federally mandated 85MPH speedometer. Hell I could bury the speedo in second gear!

Here's a little story ...

A friend bought a bike about 10 years ago and he didn't have a clue how to ride it. So I went to his house and gave him afew pointers. After stalling it 4 or 5 times he went around the block. When he returned he said " This was great ... next time I'll try shifting out of 1st gear"

That’s a common story , it had happen to me too , i has driving the Vespa for 5 years , and then i got my fancy Honda semi enduro , and it was like another planet , in the first month i had even hard times to turn in the corners .. hahahahaaaa
