Honda Shadow Aero (VT1100C3)

I just ****** off my wife...and bought a bike.

I'll post pictures tomorrow, after I pick it up.

It's a Honda Shadow Aero (Retro looking bike) in black.

Its been about 20 years since I've owned a bike, and since I'm having my mid-life crisis....I decided to get another.

I currently own two bikes: '73 Triumph Bonny and a '98 Duc ST2. Both are sweet in their own way...

I'm co-owner of a Yamaha Virago 535, not that big a machine but I still love it

My mother owns the other half but it works out nicely since she never rides anyway. Gotta say I have somewhat of a guilty conscience about that bike cause I don't use it nearly as much as I should... it's got entirely too much time just sitting in the garage.

My first bike was an old Yamaha XZ 550, which I crashed. Or shall we say I was taken down by a run-away trailer that jumped off the trailer hitch of a car comming out from a driveway

I used to have a Triumph Bonneville, a '72 I think. Sweet baby Jesus that was a beautiful bike. I have regretted selling it ever since I sold it in the mid 70's. Turquoise with chrome fenders and trim.

1985 Kawasaki Ninja 600R

It's still in good shape. Only 18,000 miles and I believe it's the first water cooled motorcycle Kawasaki made. It's heavy and underpowered compared to todays bikes, but I still like it.

Nice bike, but not the first Kawasaki water cooled. I believe that honor goes to the 1979 Kawasaki 1300, 6 cyl. My best friend bought one new. Here's a photo from '79 or '80. The big 1300 in the rear. I was driving the 850 Suzuki parked in front.

None, they scare the crap out of me. I have had enough accidents on regular bikes to 99.9% know i will kill myself on a powered one. Also about 5 or 6 years ago, one of my uncles was killed on a bike.
