Just got back from Hildalgo!

Wow! What a great movie...I'm suprised it wasn't a bigger hit. It was wonderful. I might even give it the full 4/4 stars if not for a few minor actors in it that kinda sucked (but only a few). I'll have to drop back to 3.5/4 stars.

"Missing" with Tommy Lee Jones....dark, but most enjoyable....recommended, but quite a violent movie if younger family members are a consideration.

Brainstorm. Christopher Walken is, of course, the man.

For a techno-geek like me it's actually pretty cool! The ending gets kind of "out there". But surprisingly, the simulated computer hardware holds up pretty well over the years and still seems fairly plausible. The most interesting thing they used was "optical tape", which had ~6 optical tracks on it which shimmered much like a CD! It was read back by a very realistic looking (well, for 1983) player.

OK, the computer screens were hokey, and the robotic plant going screwy was hard to take, but all in all, a good flick.

And incidentally the sound mix is fantastic when played back in Dolby Pro-Logic II (or PLIIx, I suppose! ) Those were the heydays of analog surround sound.

I really got to see this movie. Have been interested since the first time I saw the trailer.

Just watched Dawn of the Dead. Good movie although not too scary to me.

IN HELL - with Van Damm. Great picture quality. Decent movie, interesting location (russian prison). Not as dumm as you might think. But of course pretty brutal but that was expected.

That movie was far better than I had expected. I enjoyed it.

Just watched Moby Dick, 1955 movie starring Gregory Peck. Good acting, but a very choppy movie if you've read the book. I guess its hard to get that long story into a movie form. Gregory Peck did make a great Captain Ahab though.

I like movies about COURAGE - since that's seldom seen these days! I practice it as often as I can.
I got fired owns and because they were wrong they rehired me.
I don't put up with sh!t , you know, these days are over.
