If I'm watching a movie and my wife doesn't care for it, there are plenty of other things for her to do until it's over. And the reverse is also true. Do I tell her she can't watch her soap opera because I think they're stupid? Heck no.

Because when the gland gets simulated the sexual drive gets kinda of crazy and that type of stuff might offend my wife.

Oh yeah, my wife does not watch soaps either. But she still watches that evil witch, Oprah. [Shudder, shaking, gagging]

The second of the Charlie's Angels films .....fun chewing gum for the mind, although a mind is certainly not a prerequisite for watching it.......completely unnecessary in fact . Hey, is it just me or were the original Angels not much tastier dishes? Still, it was a fun time-waster!

You were probably just listening to the directors commentary. You should be able to select another audio stream to listen to the movie without hearing the commentary.

Just saw this for Spidey 2. I knew it costed some money to make, but did not realize it was budgeted so damn high.
Weekend #2 for spidey figures

I'm just not sure if what I Saw was worth 210 Million to make?

Anchorman with Will Ferrell.
I would recommend it. I generally don't like this type of humor over an extended time but at least half the jokes were funny and more than made up for the other lame or obvious jokes. There are some outclips at the end but I didn't stay to watch it. Most of the theater was laughing during most of the movie which helps to enjoy it.

Last night I watched The Elephant Man and during commercial breaks October Sky which I had seen before.

The Elephant Man could very well be considered a modern-day classic, and judging from its high rating on the IMDB (8.1, #134 on the top 250) it probably is. Excellent.

October Sky brings out the inner geek in me. If you like science you'll like it. It's got some sweetness to it, but it's not that heavy-handed IMHO.
