| Just watched Memento. Yes I know... and old one but I never caught it in the theatres. I must say I don't get what the hype was about when it came out. |

| I do it all the time. I often find myself having extremely high expectations about a movie and end up feeling a bit disappointed. But the other way works too. There have been many movies which have surprised me in a positive way when I had no expectations at all. I still have to agree with Unax on "2 fast 2 furious" though |

After watching it twice you think: is Teddy right? If so it changes the whole movie, which makes you want to watch it a THIRD time in that light.

"Every G*d d*mn day!!" I loved it when he was admiring the Luftwaffe attack on his compound and praised the pilots. The tank battle was also fantastic - "Rommel, I READ YOUR BOOK!!"

I mentioned the Foundation series to her too... that I tried to read about 10-12 years go and found too boring after the prelude and then the first book. She (who was around and a teen or so when it came out) said the stories were about things that were more apprapo if you were around back in that time and why people of my generation probably found it boring.
