Goodfellas...first time I have seen it...took about an hour for the movie to get going...a little too much backstory early...overall a good movie with great actors but not better then Godfather 1 or 2

Didn't Jamie Foxx do an excellent job? I was a fan before Ray, and now I have even more respect for him.

It may grow on you. I like the backstory part more and more each time I watch it.

Personally I think GoodFellas is the best gangster movie ever made.

I put GoodFellas behind Casino, which is behind the Godfather.

The movie's I've seen this week have been Hidalgo, The Terminal (great film; Catherine Zeta-Jones is soo fine, although I wish Thandie Newton had played the black girl agent part), Lawrence of Arabia, 1984 (weird film), THX1138 (too slow and cerebral), 7 Year Itch, How to Marry a Millionaire, Hero (FX technical mistakes), Collateral, Starship Troopers 2 (weird film), PI (weird and great film), Spiderman II, and DeathWatch. These are basically the ones I've liked as I'll spare you all the others which I thought were sub par.

Either I've been watching too many films or I'm getting more discriminating. I liked Collateral until I saw the big mistake where the cop puts the handcuffs on Jaime's arm and then in the next scene it is gone. I seem to find a technical glitch in every movie and it frustrates me (like 'You Only Live Twice,' one of my favourite films just because of the music). I'm watching 'Stranded' now and want to leap into the screen and slap an actor.

I wonder if 'Mob Boss' is on DVD? - Morgan Fairchild is soo fine and the sardine and peanut butter scene is too die for.
