We just watched Bobby, it started out a little slow (as expected) and it turned out to be a very, very good show..

No Country For Old Men

Excellent movie.

Didn't realize it was based off of a novel by Cormac McCarthy, I had recently finished a novel of his called "The Road", which was a very good read.

Re: What movie did you just see?

i just watched this movie zeitgeist. i downloaded from a torrent site, it is a free movie and can be watched at google video ZEITGEIST, The Movie - Official Release - Full Film

talk about an eye opener. the first few minutes are odd but after that its just wow. I'll have to do some research to see if what is stated in the movie is true, but if even only 10% of the movie is based on fact i will be blow away. Its just amazing how what you are force fed by the media and what really is happening in the world are not even related. anyways the movie is on you tube also but in segments and also at the piratebay and mininova. again it is a freely distributed movie so no rules are broken by downloading it from a torrent site. if anyone does watch it lets hear you thoughts. Thanks. c-ya

I disagree. AvP: Requiem was too dark. It takes place in sewers and dark forests and power plants without power. Other than the lights of Monarch Pass, Colorado, 90% of the movie is in the shadows.

I don't hope for a good transfer to Blue Ray. Can you say "black crush"? It was evident on the film, it will bring HD and DVD to its knees. LCD TVs need not apply.

I found the story to be about the same as the first. I agree with you, while I was watching AvP: R, I found the fight scenes to be dark and they were moving too fast. I found it difficult to see what was going on. I described it as - you have to watch this on video, so you can watch the fight scenes in slow motion to see what was going on. I sort of like the story in the first one better. However, the second one has the Alien/Predator hybrid which was interesting.
