I saw, School Of Rock yesterday and I highly recommend it. If you like Jack Black you will love this movie. I thought it might be a little too lightweight with the kids and the storyline, but what a surprise, A++.

Also saw The Rundown--excellent action diversion.

Last night I watched Evil Dead II and Hellbound: Hellraiser II both are excellent. Ahh... I love a good horror (comedy) movie.

yeah, but there were no NEW characters except that Smeagle (?) who annoyed me a bit.

Smeagol? You are talking about LOTR: Two Towers aren't you? The original question and repsonse was about Gangs of New York.

If you are talking about no new characters in LOTR: Two Towers then there are two things I can add. One...they are following the book, so you can only disagree from the story in the book, which was written as one large story.

Secondly, if you were talking about LOTR: Two Towers then there were a ton of new characters introduced in the second movie. Eowyn, Eomer, Faramir, King Thengol, Treebeard and the Ents, Grima Wormtongue just to name a couple.

Did I miss something? I thought the original question was regarding Gangs of New York.

Lots of Action. Great performance by Depp. I do wish they showed a little more of Selma Hayek

League of Extrodinary Gentlemen
The count rates this film 7.5 stars out of 10.
Very good vampire scenes with Mina Harker (slobber, drool)
Is definitely a view-worthy movie.
