We finally saw The Family Man on DVD. I am not a Nicolas Cage fan (at all), but he did a good job in this movie and Téa Leoni was great (and beautiful). The primary weak point was the contrived transition between "reality" and the "alternate reality." It would not have taken much to handle it better. I would give it 3 of 4 stars.

Underworld.
Nothing like Dark City. More of a Matrix clone. A nice pop corn film.

Just saw 50 First Dates

It was surprisingly GOOD!

I was forced to watch it (went out with some human females).... I thought it was going to be another Adam Sandler crapola.... not so... and Drew Barrymore is good in it as well

but then again thats is my opinion

I saw this last weekend, and I agree. It's pretty good. I'm not much into any kind of romantic comedies, usually, but I enjoyed this one. One of the only other such movies I really like is Serendipity.

I want to see 50 First Dates. I heard good things about it and I liked Memento. This sounds like an interesting twist on that theme.

I just watched Big Trouble In Little China yesterday. What a hoot.

I must have seen Memento 20 times so far and it still twists my brain like a pretzel. Great movie. One of my all time favorites as well.

"Attack the Gas Station"

Korean job. Kinda funny.

Some juvenile delinquents "hijack" a gas station, take the staff hostage, and force the customers to pay for a full tank even if they don't want to. After that everything just takes off.

"Monster"

I just saw "Monster". Charlize Theron was indeed unrecognizable except for a very brief nude scene where her lovely breasts brought back a memory of "The Cider House Rules".

Her makeup artist definitely deserves some credit, but her performance as troubled Aileen Wuornos was convincing. My guess is that Ms. Theron will edge out Diane Keaton for the Best Actress Oscar.

Watched Black Hawk Down using my new home theatre speakers last night.

(Woo hoo! It was in Dolby Digital 5.1 off the satellite, not Dolby Surround!)

A great movie for surround sound, and my speakers sounded great. The content was pretty good, but not as good as I had heard. The good guys were soooo good, and the bad guys were soooo bad, it kinda got annoying. Real life isn't like that!

Kinda cool seeing actors from so many films I love brought together (Orlando Bloom from LOTR, Ewan McGregor and Ewan Bremner from Trainspotting).

Great flick, scary as hell and interesting storyline!

I agree with the above posts, Memento is one of my favorite movies of all time.
