We seem to have the exact opposite taste in movies! That's kinda neat actually, it's happened several times on this thread.

However my "all time favorite" list might be more compatible. I don't think I can put these in order, I like them all equally:

The Unforgiven
Goodfellas
Apocalypse Now
The Shining
A Clockwork Orange
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Pulp Fiction

Up there, but not quite in that class:

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Snatch
The Crow
Fight Club
Trainspotting
You can't argue about taste (german saying).

I love GOODFELLAS, PULP FICTION, LOTR, THE CROW.
Havent' seen SNATCH (is that the one with brad pitt? I never saw it because of the irish talking in it, I usualy have a very hard time with that).. Haven't seen TRAINSPOTTING either - yet!

FIGHT CLUB: I dunno what to think 'bout that one. Nothing I wanna see more than once...

CLOCKWORK ORANGE...saw it as a kid and scared me, and I thought it was pretty dumm - well, directed by carpenter...so can't be a normal movie...hehe....doesn't mean I don't like his movies, some a great (VAMPIRES for example is super).

I liked 'Apocalypse Now' and 'the shining". Jack N. is great in it but if you haven read the book (the shinning) and the commentaries from the actual author (S.King) you won't like the movie anymore (well, I didn't). The book is based on GHOSTS THAT HAVE TAKEN OVER JACK SO HE GETS CRAZY. well, in the produced movie it just is that Jack went insane! Which completely
different from the book. anyway. I always was a great King fan so I'm sceptical about his movies. I liked DREAM CATCHER a lot.

The latest movie I've seen: SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE with Jack Nickelson and Diane Keaton. Loved that one! If you love ABOUT SCHMIDT for sure watch that one. it's great.

So much for now.

See Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels first, then see Snatch.

Nope, directed by Stanley Kubrick. The Master. Watch it then think about it a bit. Is Alex really evil? Is he really good when he's forced to do good things? This screwed up my mind a lot.

Again directed by Kubrick, and totally despised by King. The book was good though, but the movie was positively trancedental.

Right, Kubrick! I donnu why I wrote carpenter. anyway.

Saw a few hours ago MASKED AND ANONMOUSLY (or so..hehe).
Well, if you like interesting movies AND like Bob Dylan, that's the movie for you. I'm that type! hehe Many great actors in it, too. which not always means something good, I know.

edited: I was MASKED not NAKED! hehe

Clockstoppers.

It was fun for about.... hmm.. 5 minutes.

They probably thought. "Hey , lets make a movie about people who can stop time, and wrap it in a plot-idea that has been used 300.000.000 times before"

I'm looking forward to seeing this. Ron Perlman can put attitude right where it's needed. I hope it's really good.

A very awesome movie! Great charactors, good story line, and of course, Hell Boy! Could have used some better sound effects, other than that flaw, I LIKED IT!!!

We watched Don Juan DeMarco on DVD last night. I suppose the movie would be liked by most romantics. It was not very realistic or plausible, though.
