| Are you satisfied with your main configuration? Whatever your main configuration might be, how far are you satisfied with it following your expectations? |

| Re: Are you satisfied with your main configuration? Would be optimal if * my Dlink DWL-G520 card would install without crashing my Win Xp. Everything else seems to be o.k. so far. Played Half Life 2, Crysis, Grid, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (SoC and CS) with high settings yesterday without any problems. Greetings Dru

| Re: Are you satisfied with your main configuration? I said good just because for some slight problems Ive had. For example my PSU compatability with my graphics card isnt the best, it just barely gets by, but thats only my fault. I think this problem is part of whats causing these runtime errors im getting with a few programs... Still havent figured that one out yet... ![]()

| Re: Are you satisfied with your main configuration? Optimal...and very satisfied so far but of course it only a 2wk old system. It's optimal for me because I tried to build a good gamer for a 24" monitor. I only use 1280x1024 for desktop/gaming and I wanted to keep power consumption/heat as low as possible. Case cooling is also excellent and it all handles 64bit. As PC games progress and get more sophisticated visually I can always upgrade the video card as this has the most effect on game performance. The rest of the system is going to stay for a long time and will not get OC'd. |

| Re: Are you satisfied with your main configuration? I'm still happy with my rig, it does fine. I don't have the rabid requirements for speed and graphics that I used to though.

| Re: Are you satisfied with your main configuration? I'm almost fully satisfied with my PC. The only gripe I have with it is there's audible white noise coming from either the hard drive or airflow (haven't figured out which) when I'm one meter away from it, however, the white noise goes away when I put my ear next to the case. If I can somehow eliminate the white noise, my PC would be completely inaudible at one meter and I would be perfectly satisfied with it.

| Re: Are you satisfied with your main configuration? I had hoped to upgrade this fall (Asus P5Q-E, 3GH+ Core2, 8GiB DDR2 a Velociraptor and dual 9800GTX+s) - but getting laid off killed that idea But, I have a good system now - so no big worries. I'll have to wait till I'm back working a while to have some fun again Oh, I'd like to get a CoolerMaster HAF 932 as well - need better quiet cooling than my Gigabyte Aurora and a bit more room around the mobo area.
