Question How do I play gl-games in windows 2003?

does anyone here have any hack?

windows 2003 by default disables sound/directdraw. its easy to enable those.

but I got problem with opengl games, I cannot run gl-quake. I guess c&c:general/quake3 wont run either.

on the other hand, windows 2003 seems faster than windows 2000. it uses less memory and processor time as I noticed so far.

many thanks in advance.

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

thanks for the info

I can run c&c:general, quake3 in w2003 now. so w2k3 actually supports GL games. although I still have some problems with the glqwcl, glmqwcl,fuh-glqwcl based on the original quake.

thanks for the help.

n00b question (which is not so OT): Why not just install Win XP proffesional?

I'm not tryin to be funny or anything. I'm genuinly curious. Does w2003 offer any pluses that Xp pro doesn't? I was just reading an article posted in another forum dealing with converting w2003 server to a workstation... so it got me wondering why anybody would want to do this... are their practical reasons or is this someting ppl do for fun (like tweaking)...

Thanks
