What is windows XP Black?

I've recently heard of this 'version' of windows. What the heck is it? I can't find any real info on it.

I think it's XP with a black theme and a bunch of illegal software all stuck on a DVD.You install it unattended.Sorry I won't post any links to it.

Yeah, I googled it. I'm not a tard or a noob, and I found mostly some vague references to it and a lot of download links, but nothing that told me what it was in depth. I couldnt find the answers I was looking for, so stupid me thought I'd find a smart answer here, but just got some smartassed answers instead. If I knew it was a bunch of illegal software and stuff I wouldnt have even asked about it here, since I respect this forum's integrity.

Yeah, I figured you had done that (not that not having done so means you shouldn't be allowed to ask). Tried to be smart-assed in reverse (possibly smart-alecky, I'm not sure of the differences, they appear to be subtle).

windows black like stated above is an illegal copy of xp which has an unattended installation process with a ton of integrated software. The developer goes by gamerman and has put out at least 15 different versions of xp all tweaked in there own special way.I think that he is in semi retirement from that kind of work. One thing I like about these releases is that you can take some of their tweaks and integrate them into your own legal build (using nlite) of an unattended xp. Right now my own personal favorite version of windows is server 2003 that has been modified by another eXpert to run as closely to xp as possible. I can say that server 2003 has a huge improvement in speed, stability and security compared to xp but there are some issues. Once in a blue moon I run into a program that is difficult to install but not impossible. I have installed many of the new popular games out there with no problem, hl2, quake, bio shock, bf2, c&c 3, wow, halo 2, etc. The one and only program that I have yet to be able to install is the new logitech setpoint 5.0 software for my g9 mouse that just came out last week. I am sure that I will be able to install it with a little bit more research.I do admit that having to find workarounds for simple installs is getting old. If you want to learn alot about installations, and decompiling exe,msi's etc. this is the version of windows to try. There is a whole community of people that just tear apart windows and modify them beyond belief just for fun I guess. Keep in mind that they are all illegal copys and not what we like to represent here. OK. Enough babble. hope this helps.
