| It is an Nvidia bug within Win2k. You can try going into dxdiag.exe under the "More Help" tab there is a override for the refresh rate or you can try & locate the registry patch for Nvidia drivers under Win2k that addresses this problem. If playing OpenGL games, the dxdiag only works for DirectX games and you will need to find the patch. Try one of these: http://www.bench-market.com/ http://www.tweakfiles.com/video/nvid...shratefix.html

| http://www.videocarddrivers.com/nvrefratefix.phtml this is the fix... here is the info ripped from the page, it works perfect for me on my gf2... Windows 2000 NVidia Refresh Rate Fix is a program which can be used to change the default 60Hz refresh rate under Windows 2000 with NVidia display adapters. You only need to run this program once after you have installed (or reinstalled) your display adapter drivers. No other procedures are necessary. Some key features of this program are: Shows all the available modes and lets the user to select a new rate thru a simple point and click user interface Verifies that all the changes are compatible with the monitor The user can backup his current settings to a registry file which later can be imported by simply double clicking on it. An option to set multiple modes at once by using either custom, or pre-defined actions Clean and understandable wizard-like user interface This version adds support for NV11DDR and NV11GL and fixes a bug which prevented exiting the program if saving the log failed
