| Loot galore? I'm at GhostGate because I escorted the woman from Ald'ruhn to the shine just inside of the GhostGate. So I'm not on the Main Quest at the moment. But I did do a little wandering around in the ash windstorm on the side of the mountain and bumped into an ebony mine. Just wondered, if I kill the "baddies" now do they re-spawn when I return later? |

| Yes, they will respawn even after you complete the main quest and profoundly alter the area inside The Ghostgate. And yes, there is much loot and many items of great power, some of which are part of the main quest and help you to deal with the monsters and powerful NPC's you encounter in the Ghostgate area. Unless your character is currently at least a level 20 I'd steer clear of venturing in too deeply for now. Last edited by TQ : 12-09-2003 at 12:38 PM. |

| When i played this summer i looted crypts west of balmora and in one of the crypts was a pack of vampires, i got infected and after a some days i became a vampire. It was really fun i could run across the country in no time, fight any foe, i even looked like vampire - cool. Its not easy becoming a vampire but if you get that far try it.

| Yeah, I've heard of the vampire thing. I'm not sure whether to do it later with my main character or load an old saved game and go with that. |

| HELP !!!!!! Big problem here! I seemed to have ticked off the guards in Caldera. Now they chase me on sight. I have zero bounty on me and I have no stolen goods. What I think triggered it is this: I found an eboney mine just north of GhostGate, a bit to the east, NE of the glass mine. I went in and killed the two guards and took five pieces of eboney which I sold somewhere in various places. When I returned to Caldera, the guards there came after me. Some of the guards, but not all, came after me at Fort MoonMoth. While in the mine at Red Mountain it said "you killed a guard" but I did not make any associations with those guards and any outside the GhostFence. It was too long ago and many quests ago before returning to Caldera and Fort MoonMoth. I have not yet been to Fort BuckMoth. What do I do to get them to stop chasing me? If I kill them all they just respawn and it repeats. If there is an in game procedure, great, I'll do it. If the console is the only way, then what do I type in? |

| For the future: Don't kill guards. That's bad. Word gets around. Now, has anyone offered you the opportunity to do time or pay off your crime? If not, I'd just go back to a save point prior to killing the guards. |

| Thanks TQ. I found the console codes. I haven't typed them in yet. I hope they work. I have done too much since leaving GhostGate to reload a game. I'm at the Urshilaku Camp. |

| One thing to remember: when dealing with Ordinators (such as the ones patrolling the streets in Vivec) in a situation that calls for you, for example, to prove you have a legal writ to assassinate someone (which will happen of you join the Morag Tong Assassins Guild) the Ordinator will arbitrarily remove something of value from your inventory, such as an item of power. Before you make the hit, find someplace to stash your most valuable loot (leaving only something you can afford to lose), then after you make the hit, seek out an Ordinator who will then demand you show your Writ of Execution. He'll then help himself to whatever he likes that's in your current inventory. After that, you can go back and retrieve your good stuff from wherever you stashed it. If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest joining the Morag Tong Assassins Guild. The quests you get are interesting, profitable and fun. You essentially get a license to kill... | Thanks for the tip. I had heard the name but didn't know they had a Guild. I'm in the Fighters and the Mages Guilds right now. Also thinking about joining the Thieves Guild. I'm trying to find out what conflics there are between the various Guild quests. |

But...it's up to you. The beauty of this game is how open-ended it is. The wonderful thing is that as soon as you finish the main quest you still have literally hours and hours of things you can do and places to explore. Then there's the expansion packs Tribunal and Bloodmoon, plus the mini-expansion (available as a free download from elderscrolls.com) "Seige at Firemoth". You have a lot of Morrowind play left. I played the main game for months...

I can easily see that happening. I'd like my one character to be Guildmaster of all the Guilds and leader of all the houses. Is that possible? Oh yeah, I got the Imperial Guards to stop chasing me finally. If you need the code let me know. What a relief.
