Considering Morrowind has now given my wife and I countless hundreds of hours of play I wonder if FSP games are worth playing these days.
Certainly, they can be compelling, but is the truncated gameplay time a worthwhile investment?
HalfLife 2 will be more than 25 hours.

I think all these people that say that just want to do it for a speed record. 25 hours is BS. They obviously do not explore every nook and cranny. I find "hidden" boxes of ammo in very unusual places. I'm sure "they" never found them. It is sad that they miss some of the "easter eggs" the programmers put in.

Exactly!!!...I always take my time with any game and enjoy/explore every last corner in the game...those average "game times" are for people who want to rush through the game to say they finished it...those people are missing out on a lot of the game experience

it took me 8 days to finish Half Life 2
almost 3 weeks to finish Doom 3 and over 2 weeks to finish Far Cry

Do you mean there is an "end" to Morrowind? I have the expansion pack still in its shrink wrap... and no end in sight... and here comes Vampire: Bloodlines to tempt me.

I bought Vampire: Bloodlines. I installed Vampire: Bloodlines. I played the first ten minutes or so of Vampire: Bloodlines. Then I went back to Morrowind.
Heh...nothing against V:B, in fact I plan to play it and I am quite certain I will enjoy it but, dang it, Morrowind is calling me again with its siren song to crash myself upon the rocks of its endless gameplay.

Over the weekend I purchased/created my two newest artifacts, the Shield of Hanuman (Hindu God of Strength) a Daedric shield which fortifies my strength fifteen points and Firecrow, a Daedric longsword enchanted with fire damage.
I also pack my Daedric longbow, a glass axe, Chrysamere (a two-handed enchanted longsword found in the game) and an enchanted Daedric knife given to me by the Grandmaster of the Morag Tong, who's job I have my eye on.
Armor: The Helm of Tohan, a couple of nifty enchanted gauntlets I picked up when I whacked Dagon-whatsisname and my trusty Orchish armor.

If I found something early in the game and sold it somewhere and now I want to buy it back, what's the easiest way to locate it if I can't remember where I sold it?

I'm looking for the Ring of Healing from Sedya Neen. Can you remember that far back? You were only off the boat for ten minutes. I sold it somewhere when I got a better healing object. Now I want to give it back to its owner (and satisfy the quest in my journal).

Hmmm. That's hard to say. I don't know if the TESC editor keeps track of current locations (likely not) but you could try looking in there.

Don't know all (or hardly any) console commands, but there may be a console command to locate it.

ok, i've also installed Morrowind recently and started playing, what a sweet game. BUT, it keeps freezing on me. i've stopped playing for now, until i get my new video card, i hope that's all it is. i'm currently running a GeForce MMX 440 64MB. this is weird, because i play Far Cry on all the lowest settings with little problems??

I can honestly say that with the expansions I spent more time on this game than any other computer game I have ever played. The world is just so huge it is amazing.
