Thanks KT you're correct. It is on organic stuff only IIRC. I was hoping it wasn't something I was doing wrong.

What KT said. Once your alchemy skill ramps up you'll see those items begin to be identified.

My school blocks that website out, KingTermite. Besides, I don't do walkthroughs. Thanks, anyway.

Ok then...just the two you asked for (from that website)

index_falen
Falensarano Propylon Index

Maelkashishi, Shrine, Forgotten GalleriesThis Daedric shrine is a little ways West from Maar Gan on the other side of the mountain range. The index is on the scroll next the skeleton at the very top of the Forgotten Galleries section (levitation needed).

index_telas
Telasero Propylon Index

Telasero, Lower LevelThis stronghold can be found a little East from Suran (or a ways West from Molag Marr). The index can be found in a troth in the center area of the lower level.

I turned the play mode into a third-person view, yet the screen still moves like it is in first-person view, so I guess I finally have to give up. I'm more like Warcraft-type mode of player.

True...the third-person camera isn't very good. After all, you're just looking at your character's backside for the whole game.

I'd prefer a KOTOR-type third-person where you get to see your character in 360 degrees. Now that would have been nice.

You guys were right this game is great and very addictive. Thanks for the suggestion to get the game guide also. It's been a huge help.

Do any of you get a pause when you go from one "scene/location" to another? I'm talking like moving from Balmora to West Gash or something like that.

Have you seen any remedies for this. I've got the latest patch etc. I would think my hardware should be more than sufficient to run this without pauses, especially since the game is a couple years old.

Thanks for your help and also the scoop on this game. It's great.

When moving from one scene/location to another you're essentially loading a new level/map, so even with the most powerful machines there will be a pause. Also, RPG's are notoriously resource intensive.

Glad you're enjoying the game...

Friends, how long does it take you to play a simple game.

This guy did it in 14 minutes and 26 seconds.

When I get home, I'm going to watch it. It's so funny because this thread keeps talking about hundreds of hours of gameplay.

There's also a document describing the strategy he employed to accomplish the task.
While interesting, he obviously ignored the point of playing a large, sprawling RPG, which is to explore, interact and generally have fun.

That is hilarious, I've had the game for months and I barely made it half way.

He did not ignore the point....he must have played hundreds of hours to know the game well enough to do what he did. It is an interesting accomplishment...once you know the game, to see how fast you can beat it.

However, it is a sham. It is obviously an edited video. For example, he suddenly has Sunder though he never actually "got it" anywhere that I saw. He just suddenly pulled it out. Another place he grabbed a key in his inventory out of nowhere. Not to mention how fast he is able to move from the first second....even with that character I don't think he could move thaat fast. I think its edited...I wonder how long it REALLY took him.
