Thanks for the shots.. Here are some of mine.

99% of my game I did not cheat. I just wanted to get up some of my magic.. When I did that it messed up the whole leveling system.

I have yet to complete the DB and Theifs guilds quest. Let me ask you, what is the best way to get the items into th display cases? tThe only way I found was to use telekinesis on them. Any better ways?

Oh and the thieves guild doesn't tolerate murderers, so you might want to do that thieves guild after the darkbrotherhood...just and fyi.

I used the grab button, for me its Z i think it may be something else cause i completely remap my keys in every game. I've always hated wasd, i mean ***, why not just use home row? you get more keys to map that way and easier to use them, plus type things.

so ya, the grab move bound to Z, its still a bitch though, not easy to get things, i had a glass cuirass fall through the floor in my house the other day lol... i save like ever other blink of my eyes so no biggy.

I ordered the strategy guide last week... I saw an electronic copy of it and it looks to be a valuable asset since Oblivion is definitely a game I will be playing a couple of more times when I finish it.

LOL... being a master at alchemy sure does have its advantages. Money is pooring in finally. Amazing what you can do with just an apple!

I found a bad bug that could potentially derail my admission into the Arcane Academy.
Here's what I posted at the elderscrolls forums:

Bug Report-Broken Bravil Mage's Guild Quests:

Here's what I have experienced: when attempting to acquire the Bravil recommendation from Kud-Ei she tells me to talk to Varon Vamori. I agreed to do this expecting my journal to record the quest addition. It DOES NOT, then Kud-Ei immediately asks me to help her with the Through a Nightmare Darkly quest. At first I thought it was something do to with my recommendation (I now know it isn't) and I agreed to help her. At Henantier's place she never gives me the amulet that would allow me to enter his dreamworld. She only repeats her concern about his condition. That's two broken quests in one location, both involving the same character. An extra bit of oddness: when first speaking with Delphine Jend (also in the Bravil Mage's Guild) she has spells for sale yet when I reloaded from a save point PRIOR to my arrival in Bravil she no longer has the spell purchase option. I need Kud-Ei's recommendation for obvious reasons. How to go about it with her dialog broken eludes me.

At this time I'll just head over to another Guild Hall get my next to last recommendation, then go back to Bravil and see if I can get the right triggers to continue the conversation.
The good thing is that I acquired some extremely cool loot while questing in the area.
The bad thing is that I have to make several trips to carry it all.

hmmm, have you tried loading a older save and starting the bravil recommendation again?

Its strange, i haven't actually had any of the bugs that people talk about... quests and skills bugs, nothing... (:

Sorry to hear about your problems. I haven't noticed those problems myself. I'm well into the arcane university by now...

About the spells not being for sale.. The only thing I can think about is that it is not between 9AM and 9PM or something.

I will check on my Bravil quest and see what happened there...

There were several bugs in my quests. I went to the elderscrolls.com and searched through their forums.


I know once I was supposed to get a ring, but it was not in the box. I have to use the console to add the item using the hex codes. Problem solved. I also had a gltich about something else that didnt work. Once again I had to use the player.additem xxxx code... Its a nice addition.
