my conclusion as well....gah! Got almost 26 mill, but a bit of a grind....of course, what respectable mmorpg comes with no grinding?...lol!

At least the grind is a little more enjoyable than clubbing 800 baby seals....

Oh, btw "Will"...I think I'm going to get a Cyclone..I know they are the subject of much debate, but I am a glutton for punishment and if you can learn to outfit a Minmatar ship, you can outfit anything!

Actually i don't know enough about ice mining. From what i've heard form the veterans though is that you can make quite a bit if not the same amount from doing some good hunting against battleships and what not (npcs that is)

besides mining is pretty boring to me ):

In the forum outfitting threads there seemed to be a lot of negativity regarding the general set of Minmatar ships and the Cyclone in particuliar...arguement against usually ran in "tries to be too many things...succeeds in none" vein. I don't really see the prob personally and will go ahead with purchase.

Hey guys I just created an EVE account. So far I like the game it is kinda slow paced but thats ok its a good break from BF2 and WOW. I am of the Gallente race and my toons name is "Davink". So can diffrent races all join the same corp?

So far, ABXCorps has caldari and gallente races. Get in contact with Qba if you would like to join the Corps. RacingX, have you've tried out the 14 day Eve Trial? If you haven't, then you should. Follow the tutorial. It will guide thru basic training so to speak.

Once you completed the 14 day trial or as much of it as you want, then you can convert you trial account to a paying account. Good luck and have fun with Eve. Oops almost forgot. You can have 3 characters with 1 account. You can join the corps, make a pirate, etc....

RacingX yeah come on over to our base and join the corp i will put it through. the base is located in Jita IV moon 11, we'll leave the light on for ya

Guys i wont be able to make it tonight for mining being that i have a mets game to go to (actually its a birthday present for the Mrs's cousin, even though im an avid yankee fan i guess i'll enjoy a minor league game for a night..lol j/k to any mets fans)

last week i was able to do the mining early with flax being that i was unavailabe @ 9 so i did 6-9 however. Due to traffic i wont be able to do even the early miniing this evening but i will however be on tommoroow night and do mining. whoever cant make it today can just join me tomorrow if they like.

that website there has great info under the object explorer link on the left... then widdle down to ships and pick one, its a great way to look at all the different ships. Better then the eve-online site imo

Agreed...that was just a convenient link atm, another thing about the object explorer that sorrow references is the ability to check out "faction" equipment and ships, such as the "Machariel"...these are ingame but not in the Eve-Online database for some weird reason. Dunno why the mystery.

ya, actually i'm thinking it might be quite fun to try and get a faction ship... best way is through quests, i believe... unless you have tons of isk and can afford to buy one... but alas i don't konw that much about them so (:
