![]() UPDATE: I noticed that not only is the post-patch availability an hour overdue and counting, but most of the E-O web site has been "temporarily disabled."

| Patched at 1645 GMT. Started to log in (only 16 active) but hung at the spot I took the screen grab -- prolly because I didn't pay attention to the message about the server being down for another 15 minutes.

| Any decisions for mining destination? I'll be on about 9 EDT, and can either haul or mine, depending on whether we have a barge yet or not. If we go someplace under .8, someone will need to fly muscle -- maybe the guy with the chain-link fencing?.

| FYI, here's a thread about the mysterious disappearing orb(s). I hope it's fixed with next week's update. A lot more serious than the font problem. BTW, market seems to be malfunctioning this morning.

| refined and sold: $ 4,829,664.05 - does this seem right? Ore prices seem to be down right now. Mike- it was azure p. not massive, just so there is no confusion

I'm not surprised that the market's a bit depressed. If you look at all the systems in which we've been mining, a lot of the better ore types are gone, and some belts are stripped almost completely. It's interesting how unregulated mining by the bigger and better-equipped groups is making it more difficult for the little guys (i.e., us), just like in real life. And, I say this with one of the most politically conservative POVs you're likely to find. Any additional thoughts on the TeamSpeak idea? Personally, I'd rather keep typing, as it prevents certain people from knowing when I'm gaming. But, I understand the appeal of voice over text.

| Unless we are going to do some serious pvp where we need real coordination, I am happy with typing.

| Anyone know how to find out what your refining efficiency will be, given your skill and standing at the station? I thought I remembered getting a message about this when I first started playing and tried to refine something, but now I don't see any message.

| I am a little disappointed in the retriever. It mines faster but not eye popping faster. One thing I overlooked is the 180 sec cycle of the strip miner vs. 60 sec for the miner II. Assuming the ore unit number is per cycle, here are my calcs. moa-> 4 miner 2's*60 units /60 sec= 4 units/sec or 1 unit/sec per miner 2 barge-> 2 strips*540 units/180sec= 6 units/sec I need to look closer at how astro and stuff figure. But this rate different feels about right Alex- you have 7 miner 2's?= 7units/sec - Faster than barge. I filled a jet can in just under an hour.
