UnderWater Mike,

The race is Gallente. That was pretty cool last night . I went online about 7pm and didn't logoff until 11pm. Time was flying! I'm on that learning curve right now. I've felt like someone falling into the "rabbit hole" while playing the game. The graphics are great. Some of the lighting reminds me of the rthdribl program.

also guys, list your time zones and when you are usuallly on so we can all get a feel for when we will be together and even schedule online meetings.

My time zone is EST and am usually on between 6pm-12pm

also i will need someone who will read up on corps in depth that way they can be Director (for all intensive purposes the same as CEO functions) that way when im not on the director can make decisions for the corp and can function smoothly)

as Wingit proposed i am working on by-laws to post here (just trying to juggle real life, work and game life) i think once we get orginized and are all on the same page we will make lots of $.

as with all things new there will be stumbles and growing pains, so we all have to be patient and openminded.

What I need is to be invited on the chat channel again. The darn tutorial popped up 10 different times when I went into warp. I must have closed off ABX corp chat channel...AHHHHHH

Anyway I warped into the ABX's corps home base....
If you joined the corp already, it will appear in the corp tab when you open the chat window. If not, just invite someone for a private conversation when you're on again and that person should be able to link you up.

I'm Eastern, too, and pretty much the same time 7P-midnight.

I'd volunteer for the director thing, but I'm about to begin my first semester back in school in 10 years, on top of the (sporadic) work of consulting. Don't think I have time to devote to it. But if you point me to the required reading, I can take a peek...

Or maybe Wingit while he's still convalescing?

Thx...downloaded, will read later

I am in EST and will be on pretty often 9;00AM - 1;30PM for next week or so, during recovery from surgery, after that....mostly evenings from about 8:00 - 1;00 (off and on)

Qba..don't worry too much...have fun and as things develop, they will develop...you are doing fine! If I have any thoughts I will indeed share them and if you need anything or help, let me know, I will try to assist. We are all on a learning curve here.

Hey guys, I'm up to 11 million. I'll donate a million ISK towards the rent, if someone tells me how to do it. Is it just like sending money to an individual?

I think that once we're all past the two-week mark, we ought to figure out a tax rate. I'm in favor of 10% -- we already pay that much in sales tax.

BTW, in RL I am staunchly anti-tax, so this is a stretch for me.

we probably need to figure expenses, budget some isk for any other projects we may want to start and then divide that figure by # of members...kind of see where we're headed...set a rate that would cover, whether it be a percentage or a flat fee. JMO

Re the RL comment...hahahaha!

Mike- you have more than me so we should tax you at a higher rate. It won't help me but I can feel better in bringing you down.

We should probably turn off dividends and do some joint mining where all the cash goes into the corp.

A tax rate is ok with me, too as it might be hard to get us all there.

Yeah im thinking that we have gang mining 2 miners (frig or cruiser with 2+ mining lasers and drones) 2 secure containers that each of the miners will park next to and transfer from their hold to the container then 2 haulers picking up from the hold and bringing it to the corp hanger (mining tab) and 2 security crusier or frigs.

dividends are done on a per pay basis not continuous, i thought it was an automated process where it would keep paying out but its not, so that is good.

how dividends are payed is say @ the end of a mining binge well haul like 10 mill 10% would go to the corp and the rest divvied up between all the members (1.5mil each) obviously if we bring in more, then the more the cut

i think 10% is good too for a tax rate and divvy up the rest

yeah rick re-read and thinking

we would have to set a day where we would gang mine this is when we would use the dividends opt @ the end of the day to give out the cuts (big bucks day). and all other days just dontate isk from our personal runs. remember everyone has jr accountant status so you all can see exactly what goes on in the corp expenses.

the only bill we have now is the rent (13mil due 9/3) so we are ok, but eventually as we advance and get into factories and research we will have a good system in place by then.

The equip hanger is cool too cause if you need something in particular you wouldnt have to buy it as you can borrow it so that will save us $.
