| I've about had my fill Check out the attached copy of a thread in the alliance CEO forums. If we get a pissy response, we should discuss leaving. This is supposed to be fun... EDIT: Updated the post file.

| I died last night, largely due to my own unpreparedness. However, I asked a lot of questions on gang chat. I got a few early, including the one that lead to my death. Shannah told me that the warp bubble was at 45 km. I was harnessed at 80. The rest of the questions went unanswered. I assumed that the op had started and warped to the POS. During all this, I did say that TS was not an option for me a that moment. The only response was Shannah saying "Why not???" He said nothing after I said I was playing a game with my son. I was doing a math facts game and could not have a headset on. Needless to say, I am bothered by the inflexibility. I understand that TS is much easier, but all I asked for were a couple answers. We were preparing, not in the heat of battle. I am really torn on this. I think a lot of the issues stems from this one guy. But, I have been having more fun than in a long while. It is nice to have a goal again. This may be a bad thing as I have a lot of RL going on now and really shouldn't be playing at all. I do remember in your original chats with Lokesh, that you said we have RL issues and can only play on our own time and he said that was cool. You may want to bring that up in that forum. I don't see how it hurts if we help when we can. I think they have a point that we should say if we will be there or not. I can't help but think that in any large organization there will be problem people. If we want to do something like this, we will have to deal with (or ignore) them. How do they enforce "mandatory" ops? If the kick us out, then our decision is made.

| Rick, can I re-post your last two grafs in the CEO forum? I think that about sums it up for me. BTW, I totally agree about it having changed the game. To me, this is a lot more fun than running NPC missions ad nauseum -- with the exception of a couple bad apples.

| Fine with me. I re-read the archive and even Terracian has one point. Unfortunately, he is one of those people who generates no sympathy when he is correct. The point he is correct on is that those who lack the experience/firepower can do ancillary roles in an operation. But again, you can't make them. Quote:

| True -- but they're also a TON of work. If we can't be on and organized enough to participate in the fleet ops, we'd never be able to keep our own POS fueled and defended -- or haul out the products.

| One suggestion for them would be to have a priority ranking system. Say a level 1 OP is very important like freighter escort (what they would call mandatory), to 5 which may something basic. You may want to add a PVP tag to show how much that is needed. I understand secrecy, but if I had known that the "mandatory" op last week was a freighter escort, I may have made a greater effort to be there.
