Ok what do you guys want out of the Guild? We need to get some direction and figure out what we want to achieve. Personaly I am not sure how we will all beable to get together and go questing. I think for the most part we are all over the place (Count being down under!). When I original did the guild that was the intent and have it as a place that us ABXers could get together. If we want to get a guild Hall we need to start saving up our money to get one. If some of you want to do battles with other guilds then we need to decide if we want to do that.

With my computer back up and running again I should be on a bit more now, but Battlefield 2 just came out and I got it and its pretty damn addicting. I will balance my time for these two games.

Well I'm going to be getting all three of my characters to level 20, then deleting 2 of them and restarting them. I currently have 1 in the Southern Shiverpeaks, 1 in the Jungle (around Aurora Glade), and another at Gates of Kryta. So i'll be up and around all over the place. I'm on most nights (Mountain time) and most weekends, and I'm more than happy to help anyone else who's online. Just send me a whisper

Me.....I'm still addicted. My R/MO is level 16 now in Kryta. My Mo/El is only level 9 and still in Ascalon City. I have 2 warriors....a W/El and W/mo trying to decide which one I like better.

I'm on pretty much every day.

Ok... I've heard a lot about these games.... Passed by WOW because you had to pay to play...

Aside from that I really love playing RPG's....

Is it true that playing this game on-line is actually free (without restrictions)???

How about single player (tutorial) missions. Are they included?

The only thing you pay for on this game is the price of the game. After that just sit back and get hooked. A quick run down for this game for you SZ. There are no races in the game. You are a human(male or female) and you have various classes you can choose from(Monk, Warrior, Necromancer, Elementalist, Mesmer and Ranger). You have a Primary class and you can get a secondary class also(I am fairly sure you have to at one point to progress in the game.) Now when you create your character you do it be selecting one of two choices:

PvE(Player vs. Enviroment)- This is what I do and nothing else. This is the typical RPG part of the game where you start a character from Level 1 and work your way up and take on various missions. Teamwork is essiental in the later missions(Crystal Desert is way tough). You can either play with yourself and use Henchmen(Computer controlled and not always bright characters) or you can team up with some of us and we can go questing.

PvP(Player vs Player)- In this mode you get a prebuilt character already maxed out and go and do player vs player maps or blue team vs red ream. I have not done this mode so I can not really comment on it. From my understanding it is pretty fun.

I believe your allowed to make upto 4 characters(I'm working on 2 characters) per account. There is no monthly fee, but the makers do plan on releasing expansions for the game every 6-9 months or so that you have the option of buying. I know I will probably buy a couple of them. Its pretty dang addictive. Plus its hard not to see what is over the next hill or around the bend. Personaly I think the graphics are great and overall it runs and feels very smooth.

Thanks for the run down Arutha!

The thing that holds me back a little is that I am completely new to this game while others have played it for months and months... This is like pinokio taking it up with the Hulk... LOL... Probably get smashed a lot...

I will read some more about it because it does look and sounds great!

ps... is there some way to do some training before you actually go on-line?

I would get it and just do the PvE and learn to play it that way. Once you get used to that then you can make a PvP character and try that. No way of playing offline at all and it is very easy to pick up play anyways. If you have played Diablo then this is somewhat similiar. It is not overly complex, but trying to equip your character with the right skills for a given mission can be a tough one.

Aurtha is quite correct....it is very easy to jump right in and play. There are some great forums over at gwonline.net with tips on which ever char class you play.

I too bought the game later than most, I find there are still a lot of new people to the game and most of the old timers are pretty helpful.

Also the game is pretty good at walking you along, basicly the first level (pre-searing) is training, which for the most part you can do alone if you wish.

one change i would like to see is the addition of more hotkeys for spells (there are 10 number keys afterall). between two professions, there's a lot of spells to choose from. that and the pathing could definitely be better. otherwise, i have had little to complain about.

i rolled an elementalist/necro this weekend and so far i'm liking that character more than my necro/monk. i'm still determined to get my necro to 20 though. does anyone else have a 'ment? i'm curious which line i should bring up. so far i've put everything in fire, which seems to have the better spells (D.O.T.s are awesome ). i'm wondering if anyone's tried a different element though.

My son's E/Ne is mostly fire as well, but he is starting find some good lightning spells.

I would love to see more hotkeys as well, but from the posts I've read over at gwonline the PvP players want nothing to do with it.
