Since I got my gold bow....my drops have not been as good. Funny when I got it everyone in the group had given up on the mission because we blew the bonus. I finished by myself, got some great drops then. It was that freaky mission with the eye.

i wish i can remember which mission it was. it was the one where you had to light beacons. anyway, it was dropped by a mob guarding the special beacon you had to light to finish off the mission.

Well it went bad the first few times since I didn't think my way through. I tried several variations of things and finally sort of cheated and looked at a forum and got an idea on how to beat him. With my Warrior I took every skill off, but my Frenzy attack. I then took all my sword attributs off and switched to hammer(thanks from Ran on that tip) and beat him in about 30 seconds that way. He couldn't heal himself and I was doing more damage then he was. My armor seemed to protect me pretty good, and I Figured he would have the same, but that didn't seem to be the case.

I get lucky now and then for drops. I had a gold Skull shield drop for me on the Thirsty river quest. So that was kind of nice. I haven't touched the game since yesterday afternoon and probably will not for while due to personal reasons.

i wanted to let you guys know that i'm joining a different guild. i appreciate the invite into the abx guild but the problem is i play at odd hours it seems that i rarely ever see anyone on. blame it on being on the west coast i guess.

anyway, i came across a guild that is fairly active and a lot of their members seem to be on when i'm on. i can only assume that a large number of their members are on the west coast as well. anyway, i grouped with some of them last night and they seem to be good crowd to hang out with.

i apologize if this upsets anyone, but with my final levels coming up, missions and quests are that much harder to accomplish with just henchmen, let alone solo.

After Ascension you go to the Southern Shiverpeaks (after a short detour to Dragon's Lair) and then onto the Fire Islands. If you include Dragon's Lair, you have 8 more co-op missions to go, plus about 6-8 outposts (the places where you can warp, but no mission), and 14+ explorable areas. Oh and you can really get into collecting the 30+ elite skills for your 2 professions.

So, if that seems like a lot, it is. Tak Hera, my first (and farthest) character, is at the third to last co-op mission (last 3 are Fire Island ones - fricken hard!).

Don't forget that after you finish all that, you can do Fissure of Woe and the Underworld, which, supposedly, is actually challenging (well if you thought the rest of the game was easy, otherwise - insanely, near impossibly, hard).

So GL to all (myself included!).

Sorry to see ya leave also. Things have been pretty chaotic here at home the last week. The purpose of this guild was just for fellow ABXers who wanted to get together and play online with this great game. I know with the assortment of characters that we all have going it is not always possible to hook up and play. Let alone the different timezones everyone is in.
I hope the new guild works out for ya.

Has anyone made it into the new free expansion area yet for your level 20 character(s) I'm still stuck in the Ice Cave of Sorror Mission. I get the lady rescued, but then when I make it back outside I get ambushed by those damn Elementalist people!

There have been some major changes since I have last played the game. First being the chests you need keys for in missions. With my level 20 character I have gotten two Gold items from the chests that I have unlocked (600 gold for a key). The last few updates have been pretty good, since they now break down your skills by categories instead of having one huge list.

I haven't been playing this game as much as I Like, but I will have to get back into it. I did manage to get Plate Mail armor for my warrior (85 Armor Class) and still have the Superior Rune of Absorption to use.

First...to beat the Ice Caves mission, rescue the lady and start down the cave but do not exit it. Wait for the Mursaat to pass, just make sure you don't aggro them. Then stay far behind them....they will wipe out the the dwarfs and the balista fire will take care of all of them or maybe leave one behind. I can beat it with henches pretty easy now.

I figured that was what I had to do to beat those Mursaat. Those guys can be tough! It is to bad they do not drop you anything. So with the new updates do the enemies still drop Gold items or do you have to unlock them from the chests? Now the problem is Gold Items are pretty common it seems.

Oops...next misssion is the Iron Mines, where you get infused to offset the mursaat damage. Yes you still get gold and purple drops for monsters. Green of course falls only from bosses in GF and SF.

Ya it seems it has taken the value from selling them but I hated the trade channel anyway. If I found an item I didn't want I'd just give to a guild member or sell to the merchant. I'm up to 125p now with farming and bought 15k armor for 3 of my chars. If I'm watching a game or just have a few minutes to kill I'll jump on and farm for a bit.

Are you farming with your warrior and if so do you mine tellin me where? Is your guild Recruiting? The ABXLab guild is pretty much dead, but I need a Guild where I can just play and not have to worry about being online at certain times or anything. My son started School and I have my 2.5 year old daughter to watch sure does suck up some gaming time. How do you have your Warrior setup? I'll have to right down my Stats and post them on here.
