| not really a Sim...but I hear a lot of good things about 'Sins of a Solar Empire' which is a multiplayer real-time space strategy game

Jumpgate Evolution Several ABXers also are currently playing EVE, though it is a more mmorpg approach, while still filled with plenty of mayhem...free trial here EVE Online - a massive multiplayer online roleplaying space game - MMORPG cheers ....and yes, Freespace 2 was fun indeed
