Question Can I use this CPU ?

Learned Gentlemen,

I have a chance of this Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz (or a 3.0GHz) 800FSB SKT478 512Kb Cache will it work OK on my BH7e ?.

I spoke too soon. I have a 2.4C which I just overclocked to 3.0 MHz with a 10% voltage increase. I had tried this before but no go and then I found that the northbridge had lost its heatsink when a staple pulled out the MB !. A bit of supergloo and bingo.

Aye there are two staples (wire loops) soldered into the MB to hold the retaining clip for the northbridge. One was badly soldered and the spring had pulled it out. (I was lucky to find it ). I thought I may have remove the MB and solder it back in but I just cleaned it up and superglued it in the MB worked fine !
