| Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 + E8500 I've just bought a new GA-X48-DQ6 motherboard - nice I plan to get the Core 2 Duo E8500 processor, which Intel have recently changed from C0 to E0 stepping. The motherboard requires a bios update (F6 to F7) for the E0 stepping processor. Can I run the motherboard with an E0 stepping processor to flash the bios, or am I in catch-22 land ? |
