I am utterly satisfied with my BZB/BIOS 05 rig. It is perfection. I am becoming enamored with the AZB/BIOS 12, but I will definately keep updating BIOS on this rig. The BZB is staying right where it is: untouchable.

It's a long shot but if the Intel Desktop Control Center has a VDIMM adjustment I believe that will fix all the problems. I want to do PO12 at 5-2-2-2 and Burn_in_mode +8 and have my two front fans in parallel and rear 90mm controlled from the desktop. Might even wire up the power supply fan to control it. Ofcourse all this has to be stable to.

Theres a thread on this in multimedia I believe and it does the same thing on the ASUS P4800C Deluxe. They also mentioned an audio fourm where people where bitchin at CLabs. I think CL needs to get their driver house in order especiallly in regards to working with the 875 chipsets.

My AZB/D875PBZ and Audigy 2 work perfectly. XP Pro. I'm very happy with the board too. I can't think of an alternative mobo I'd rather have.

And all the glutware the CD installs. I made the mistake of installing everything. Had to do a little research to find out how the disable the EAX splash screen that loads everytime you start. Very arrogant of them to install that. I may pass on Creative next time.

At first I just installed the driver from the CD and then upgraded it using the web site. That worked fine but I got curious and loaded all the junk.

I read somewhere on this forum that all you really need is the drivers and the EAX console.

Don't want to turn this into an Audigy 2 thread but here's a useful thread:

Yeehaw! Post 100.

well holy mother of GoD!

it was the AudigyDrive2 that caused all that trouble!!
i disconnected it and everything went without a glitch!

now i KNOW for a fact its the creative drivers that was causing the problems
