Intel Seaburg chipset(s) - 5400A and 5400B

The Intel 5400 chipset (aka Seaburg) apparently is available in two flavors:

5400A and 5400B

The fact that two flavors are existing is hardly known. Anyone know what the difference between the two is?

Re: Intel Seaburg chipset(s) - 5400A and 5400B

In the meantime I got the answer:

5400A supports a 1333MHz FSB
5400B supports a 1600MHz FSB

It would appear that the latest version of the Apple Mac Pro that I am using under Windows Vista x64 is using the 5400B Chipset from Intel.
The older version of the Mac Pro had a slower FSB than the current model and didn't support PCIe 2.0 I would suspect that it had the 5400A flavored chipset.

2x Intel Xeon E5462 Quad Core Harpertown 771 LGA 45nm 2.8Ghz
Mainboard: MAC-F42C88C8 Proto1
Chipset: Intel 5400B Rev C0
Southbridge: 6321ESB
