Re: looking for P4T533-C

I tried Ebay like a month ago and the prices were outrageous for an absolete board. But, I just looked again and there are some more reasonable prices now. Besides I just thought I would ask here because I would trust someone that has been on this forum a long time than some stranger on Ebay .

Re: looking for P4T533-C

I sold my P4T533-C on these forums a few months ago..but I've got a P4T533 (non -C version). I doubt you'll want to try and find 32bit RDRAM for it though.

Would the Intel D850EMV2 work as a replacement? There's a seller with 7000+ feedback at 99.8% selling a bunch of them brand new, unused at $42.45 with reasonable shipping costs. Link

Re: looking for P4T533-C

Thanks for the info CK8-04. I purchased one and unplugged the 533-c and installed the DV850. Booted right to XP without reinstalling anything Just need to put an ethernet card in now. My sister will be very happy that she can go from win98. And so will I, maybe they'll be less trouble shooting phone calls.

Congrats on a good save..... I'm still running a P4T533 with rambus memory, 5+yrs. I've also had the same install of XP for around 5yrs. Its used everyday by my wife, to surf the net and e-mail.
