| I am running at 2.5-3-3-8 (SPD) for the last 3 days still with the usual 1-2 crashes a day. “PSU” Sounds like a college or something my wife gets, what it is? What I want most of all is a stabile system. My old P3 never gives me these crash problems running MOHAA so it defiantly is hardware related. Ralf told me about getting BH5 memory. I guess my real question is 1) Is the KHX3200K2/1G BH5 memory. 2) If I swap to this Hyper X memory will I still have problems or will it run fine. 3) If I get 3-3-3-8 will memory no longer be a factor and my system will be stabile as far as memory is concerned. (Note, the Kingston 3-3-3-8 memory Intel passed also is CH5 memory or at lease it has an “A” in the part number) As far as the boot problem, my board is 3 weeks old (205 board, what a bit should have waited). Will Intel replace it if it is a BIOS problem. Is it a fact that it is the soure of the problem. Is it a fact that the 206 board do not have this problem or no one knows yet?

PSU = Power Supply As for your other questions, look out in the main part of the Intel Chipset forum. You will see a thread called "Intel D875PBZLK." Try posting your other questions in that thread. Youll get lots of good answers there.

| AIW installations Hi Mr Steveo, Thanks for a greeaaat guide. I have just been following it for installing my new silent P4. A question about the instructions on ATI AIW cards: when you say I should install TV-Capture-WDM codecs, do you mean the TV Capture _driver_ downloadable from ATI? (or are there any separate codecs I should get?) BTW, I have struggled with an issue with my ATI AIW card whose solution might be nice to include in your guide. The problem was that no TV Tuner input was possible, only Video In. It was all caused by a bug in DirectX 9.0b where they apparently had done some changes only favoring NTSC systems. So I, located in Europe (Sweden) where we have PAL, had my TV functions disabled by this installation... Anyway, MS has issued a hotfix KB825116 that solves this that you might refer to in your guide. One more thing: do you have any opinions on what and when to install close-to-system softwares like firewalls (ZoneAlarm) and audio/video codecs? Thanks again Mike |

| The AIW installtion information in the Guide was supplied by forum members. Since I dont have an AIW card at my disposal, Id suggest asking for help in the ABXZone Graphics forum if this Guide is unclear. As for when to install codecs and Zone Alarm. I dont think its a big deal when. Nut if I had to pick a time Id install the codecs after Windows and then Zone Alarm after that.

| mikewse, the Microsoft KB825116 you mentioned is a VERY important patch to DirectX 9.0b. Thanks for the tip. That went unnoticed by me and presumably many other people. Important to me because I am waiting for my Sapphire AIW 9600 Pro The Beast, which should be on the market pretty soon. |

| Does anyone actually have KB825116 as a downloaded file on their PC? I've had the same problem with my ATI AIW 9000 but have just noticed the fix. MS Offices are now closed in the UK until monday and it would be great to get the system working 100% Thanks for any help in advance - Mike

| Good info guys! This seems to be just one more patch MS should hurry up and officially release. THeres about a handful of them now. Hopefully SP2 will be out in January and include these beta patches that seem to work so well.
